Position Overview:

The Diesel Mechanic Technician will be tasked with completing preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and component replacements on various Charter Buses, School Buses, Shuttles, Transits, Sprinters, and automobiles.

Position Responsibilities:

Knowledge of diesel engines, automotive gas engines, brake systems (air & hydraulic), electrical systems along with general knowledge on any heavy equipment repairs. Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a safe, efficient, and well-equipped work environment Diagnostics and repairs of diesel engines, automotive gas engines, powertrains, HVAC systems, steering systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, and brake systems Conduct DOT, BIT inspections, DVIR compliance and CHP compliance repairs

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience working on diesel trucks or commercial buses Must supply your own tools and tool box High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of Heavy Duty Diesel and Gas Automotive engines. Technical degree in diesel or industrial technology (Preferred) Valid driver’s license

Schedule:

Monday- Friday (Must be able to work some weekends)
