Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Chi Nguyen leads EmployBridge’s corporate and operating finance functions including treasury, tax, accounting, financial planning and analysis, shared services, risk management, internal audit and compliance, real estate and investor relations. On the Leadership Council, she is responsible for identifying strategic priorities, capital planning and overseeing performance management.
With a keen understanding of people-based businesses, Chi has made numerous valuable contributions since joining EmployBridge in 2017. She led the successful recapitalization in 2018, strengthening EmployBridge’s balance sheet and advancing the organization’s long-term strategic growth plans.
For more than 20 years, Chi has led finance teams in high-growth sectors for operations of increasing scale and complexity. Before joining EmployBridge, Chi spent 12 years at Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services, where she became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2011. During her tenure, Brand’s annual revenue grew from $300 million to $5 billion, and she helped the company make a series of acquisitions. Her leadership was also key to the successful sale of Brand to First Reserve Corporation in 2007 and Clayton, Dubilier and Rice in 2013.
Prior to Brand, Chi was Manager of Finance, GE Network Reliability Products & Services. During her decade-long GE career, Chi held a series of senior operating roles in finance, including Finance Integration Leader for the company’s planned acquisition of Honeywell.
Chi graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing. She is also a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program and GE’s Experienced Finance Leadership Program. At GE, she spent three years as a certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.
