Job Description

Shipping & Receiving Data Entry Clerk in Santa Teresa for the 1st shift

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates documentation and appointments of shipments with freight companies based on sales department shipment requests, double checks all paperwork filing and distributing documentation to proper personnel after freight has been shipped.
  • Maintains daily log of all shipments, types of bills of lading and address labels, traces and follows up on freight parcels and claims.
  • Sends out UPS and Fed-Ex packages daily maintaining appropriate logs and paperwork as required.
  • May assist QA department with inspections, releasing of materials, or processing non-compliance material(s) to include removing materials from production and warehouse areas, labeling the non-compliance material(s), and completing rejection forms.
  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized environment (docks, receiving and QA area) filling out appropriate housekeeping documentation as required.
  • Cross-trained in all positions within the warehouse able and willing to carry out or fill-in when required and/or as needed.
  • Position requires overtime to meet production requirements, trainings, and or management functions as needed.
  • All employees have the responsibility and authority to report any action that puts any process or product at risk.

Job Requirements.

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English.
  • 1 to 2 years of recent experience must have  
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination able to safely use electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Must be detail orientated, able to pull materials and fill out required paperwork within set timeframes.
  • Basic computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Previous use of Warehouse Management Systems, databases, and/or MRP systems a plus. Must be able to compute basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Must be capable of standing or sitting for a full shift (8 to 12 hours), walk, stoop, kneel, bend over, and grasp objects with both hands on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to report to work on-time, on a consistent and regular basis.

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
