CNC Machinist
Location: Fremont & San Jose, CA
Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Swing Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Fremont and San Jose, CA. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision metal parts in accordance with detailed engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to quality, and a collaborative attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Operate CNC machines to produce production runs of precision parts.
- Work closely with the engineering and CAM programming teams to develop and improve CNC programs.
- Design and assist in the fabrication of fixtures for complex parts.
- Provide input to supervisors and programmers on technical improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Conduct inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain machinery and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Document operational or performance issues and report them to supervisors.
- Follow the Quality Management System and all company safety procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, supervisors, and support staff.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred.
- 8+ years of CNC machine operation experience.
- Proficient in G & M codes with the ability to edit programs.
- Advanced blueprint reading skills.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality parts.
