Join the founding manufacturing production team of a new advanced solar manufacturing facility. With an established and fully operational United States production site already open in Texas, the Jeffersonville location will be the second United States facility and is preparing for full production launch following international training.
This is a ground floor manufacturing and production opportunity to be part of the launch team and help build operations from the beginning. We are seeking career oriented individuals who want long term advancement, leadership growth, and stability within an expanding manufacturing and production organization.
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Production Operator performs hands on production tasks in a high technology solar cell manufacturing environment. This role includes operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated and semi automated production equipment used in the fabrication of solar cells.
Operators are expected to follow established manufacturing procedures, production standards, safety protocols, and workplace policies to ensure efficient production output and consistent quality performance.
International Training Opportunity
As part of the first manufacturing production team hired, selected members will participate in hands on international training, working directly with engineers and production specialists who designed and built the equipment for the Jeffersonville facility.

Primary Responsibilities
Manufacturing production environment requiring extended standing and physical activity
Wafer preparation including cleaning, texturing, and doping of silicon wafers
Monitor high temperature furnace production processes to introduce dopants and apply metal contacts
Etching and coating using chemical baths and deposition tools
Screen printing and curing of conductive pastes
Electrical and optical production testing including IV curve measurements and electroluminescence imaging
Manufacturing of monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon solar cells
Support product development, production process and tool optimization initiatives to improve cell efficiency, yield, and equipment performance
Participate in pilot production runs for emerging solar technologies
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase production throughput and reduce waste
Ensure all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with company policies
Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of prior manufacturing experience required
At least 2 years of tenure with a current or previous employer
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical labor in a production environment
Strong attention to quality and detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced manufacturing setting
Valid passport required and may be obtained after job offer
Opportunities for advancement into Team Lead, Supervisor, and other leadership roles will be available as the Jeffersonville manufacturing production facility scales. This is a long term growth opportunity within an innovative and expanding solar manufacturing and production organization.
