Job Description

Join a reliable and safety-focused logistics team as a Gate Clerk!
We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable individuals to support our yard and warehouse operations by ensuring the secure and efficient flow of traffic in and out of the facility.


Pay & Schedule:

šŸ’² Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
šŸ• 1st Shift: [7:00 AM – 5:30 PM]
šŸŒ™ 2nd Shift: [3:00 PM – 12:00am]

(Overtime may be required based on business needs.)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a secure entrance by monitoring and recording all visitors, vendors, and drivers.

  • Direct inbound and outbound truck traffic to ensure safe and efficient yard flow.

  • Verify the condition of intermodal equipment entering and exiting the facility; report and document any damages or inconsistencies.

  • Complete required system inputs and documentation, including ELRs (Equipment Lease Receipts), BOLs, drayage records, temperature checks, and event reports (e.g., equipment damage, theft, unauthorized persons).

  • Support port drayage operations by preparing and managing driver paperwork and updating system records.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trailer and fruit inventory.

  • Coordinate with maintenance for inspection of damaged equipment.

  • Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain order and cleanliness of the premises.

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact authorities when needed.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Previous experience in a logistics, yard, or warehouse environment preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record keeping.

  • Dependable and safety-conscious with a team-oriented mindset.

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
