The ideal candidate: Has hands-on soldering experience, technical knowledge of electronic assemblies, and a strong commitment to quality. About Soldering in Assembly In electronics manufacturing, soldering is the process of joining electrical components to a circuit board by melting a filler metal (solder). This creates both a mechanical bond and an electrical connection that ensures the component functions reliably within the circuit. Manual soldering requires great precision, as components are often extremely small and densely packed on the board. Skilled soldering ensures connections meet IPC industry standards for durability and performance.
