Job Description

OPENING FOR SHIPPING/RECEIVING/INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Ideal candidate: Experience within Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing Company near I-10/Barker Cypress seeking warehouse support with daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for verifying shipments, maintaining organized records, managing shipping supplies, and assisting with both domestic and international logistics. The Warehouse Assistant plays a key part in maintaining an efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by completing deliveries accurately and on schedule.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing materials against supporting documentation.
  • Maintain organized and up‑to‑date recordkeeping, including Bills of Lading (BOL), shipping logs, Air Waybills (AWB), and Commercial Packing Lists.
  • Monitor inventory levels of all shipping and packaging supplies; restock as needed to prevent shortages.
  • Assist with obtaining and comparing domestic and international freight rates.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all required shipping documentation, including pick lists, pack lists, Bills of Lading, Commercial Packing Lists, Air Waybills, Shipper’s Export Declarations, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Support warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and logistics operations.

  • $18-$23 depending of experience 

 

 

 

 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of domestic shipping methods (UPS, LTL, air freight).
  • Basic knowledge of international shipping requirements, including ocean and air transport.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. safely and carry up to 50 lbs. up a flight of stairs.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred).
  • Safe and responsible driving record with minimal or no moving violations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma/AS degree

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
