Select is partnering up with a company who is looking for Transit drivers.
We take pride in providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to our passengers. As a Bus Driver, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive travel experience while ensuring our passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time.
MUST HAVE --> Passenger endorsement, Class B driver
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate company vehicles on assigned routes, trips, and shuttles.
- Assist passengers—especially those with disabilities—with care and courtesy when boarding or exiting the vehicle.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR) and report any maintenance needs.
- Keep your vehicle clean—inside and out!
- Record attendance, hours, and rider information accurately using company systems (BBSI Time Net, Motive, R&D Routes).
- Provide engaging safety briefings before each trip.
- Complete trip, accident, and incident reports as needed.
- Refuel vehicles and perform light maintenance tasks when necessary.
- Step in to help other departments (operations, sales, shop) when needed—teamwork makes the dream work!
Essential Expectations
- Follow assigned schedules and manifests precisely.
- Maintain accurate and consistent entries in all systems (BBSI Time Net & Motive).
- Practice defensive driving and always keep safety first.
- Park vehicles neatly and in designated areas.
- Keep communication clear and proactive—both with passengers and your team.
- Stay flexible—assist with maintenance scheduling or other assigned tasks as needed.
- In emergencies: stay calm, follow protocol, and provide First Aid until help arrives.
Physical Requirements
- Push/pull up to 75 lbs (ex: assisting a wheelchair).
- Bend, climb, and lift (up to 30 lbs for luggage or coolers).
- Safely operate bus doors, handles, and emergency exits.
- Provide assistance and support to passengers entering or exiting the bus.

We require you to fully complete the application process, successfully pass the applicable assessments for your skill set, and provide accurate information for a reference check. We also require you to pass a background check and E-Verify verification, and some jobs require a drug screen. You’re paid on Friday for the prior week worked. We pay using the Comdata Payroll Card. You can choose to directly deposit your pay through an automatic transfer with the card or use the card as an ATM/debit card or point-of-sale credit card. Certain rules apply. If you apply through the Bluecrew app, you have the option to receive a check by mail or direct deposit to your checking account. Bluecrew pays weekly and offers a benefit called On Demand Pay, which allows you to access your weekly earnings days before payday.
Your payroll funds can be directly deposited to the bank account of your choice through our Comdata Payroll Card program. To set up direct deposit, log in to the cardholder website at www.cardholder.comdata.com. Enter your username, password, and click the log in button. Hover over the Banking option and click on Direct Deposit. Follow the prompt Steps to Transfer Money From Your Comdata Payroll Card to Your Bank Account.
You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
