Hydraulics Mechanic

Temp-to-Hire Location: Huntsville, AL

Pay: Starting pay: $33 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7-3

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a motivated professional who enjoys electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, interpreting schematics, and building/maintaining high‑quality industrial equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Hydraulics Mechanic, you will play a key role in assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
  • Reading and interpreting electrical/electronic schematics, blueprints, and hand‑drawn sketches
  • Routing, installing, and securing electrical wires, harnesses, conduit, and components
  • Selecting proper conduit and wire sizes based on electrical load requirements
  • Using hand tools and industrial power tools such as conduit benders and threading machines
  • Performing testing, diagnostics, and inspections on completed systems and components
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues and repairing components as needed
  • Documenting all work performed with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Providing guidance to less experienced team members when necessary
  • Collaborating with coworkers and customers in a professional, respectful manner
  • Supporting additional tasks as assigned to keep operations running smoothly

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • U.S. citizen or legally able to work in the United States
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
  • 2–4 years of related mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency in basic math and standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with MS Project preferred
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational habits with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
