SMT Operator – Electronics Manufacturing

Pay Rates by Shift

  • Day 10hr Shift: $15.00 per hour
  • Night 10hr Shift: $15.50 per hour
  • Day 12hr Shift: $17.21 per hour
  • Night 12hr Shift: $17.71 per hour

Job Summary

The SMT Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring automated equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards. This role ensures components are accurately placed and soldered while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate SMT equipment including stencil printers and pick and place machines
  • Load and verify materials based on production needs
  • Perform inspections using AOI systems and microscopes
  • Monitor production and make adjustments as needed
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Bill of Materials including part numbers and quantities
  • Ability to perform kit audits for accuracy
  • Knowledge of SMT processes including stencil printing, pick and place, soldering, and inspection
  • Understanding of component types and polarity
  • Familiarity with IPC 610 Class II standards preferred
  • Comfortable working with automated machinery
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
