Warehouse Order Selector / Distribution Associate

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Selector / Distribution Associate to support distribution center operations. This role is responsible for selecting products, filling customer orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and workplace safety. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.

Position Summary

This position contributes to operational success by accurately selecting products to fulfill orders and preparing them for shipment. Team members are expected to model company values, maintain a safe work environment, and adhere to all quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Distribution

  • Select products from the distribution center according to location, description, and SKU number.
  • Accurately pick, pack, label, and identify products for shipment.
  • Sort, consolidate, palletize, and load orders for transportation.
  • Audit work for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Communicate safety, sanitation, and quality concerns promptly.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain product quality by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety procedures.
  • Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Identify, report, and document any deviations from quality, legal, or food safety requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all product specifications and quality procedures.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), dock lock, and facility traffic control procedures.
  • Report all workplace incidents immediately.
  • Operate equipment only when authorized and trained to do so.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and sanitation practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety by coaching and encouraging safe work behaviors among team members.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, committees, and certification programs as applicable.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a production, warehouse, distribution, material handling, or order selection role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written policies, procedures, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with BRC, GMP, and HACCP standards preferred.
  • Ability to work in compliance with quality, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including short-notice assignments when business needs require.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move products throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move products as required by job duties.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must provide valid, original identification and employment authorization documents acceptable for Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
