Shipping Coordinator - Durham, NC - Day Shift
 
We are hiring a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse operation in Durham, NC. This Day Shift opportunity, Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 4:30pm, offers competitive pay based on experience. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer orders are accurately processed, packaged, and delivered on time while working closely with inventory and logistics teams.

Job Requirements
  • Verify materials and parts prior to shipment by coordinating with inventory teams
  • Review and maintain shipping documentation including customer orders, shipping labels, and bills of lading
  • Process shipment transactions within the ERP system
  • Package and protect materials to prevent damage during transit
  • Determine shipment methods including parcel and LTL freight
  • Prepare shipment labels using systems such as FedEx
  • Coordinate freight quotes, select carriers, and schedule shipments
  • Stage shipments for pickup and ensure proper documentation
  • Track shipping expenses and maintain logs and spreadsheets
  • Load, secure, and document shipments with proof of delivery
  • Communicate shipment status, delays, and updates to internal teams and customers
  • Follow domestic shipping regulations, safety standards, and labeling requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage shipping documentation and data entry accurately
  • Experience with ERP or shipping software preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely load and inspect shipments
Work Environment

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
