Monday–Friday Schedule | Temp to Hire | Grow Your Inventory & Warehouse Skills

Pay and Schedule

  • Pay: $24/hr

    • Monday–Thursday: 8:00AM–4:30PM

    • Friday: 7:30AM–4:00PM

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Technician to support warehouse operations by managing both main and overflow inventory. This role ensures accurate receiving, organized storage, and consistent inventory control practices. The ideal candidate is disciplined, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming shipments (FedEx, UPS, freight trucks); verify counts and report damage or discrepancies before signing.

  • Receive all purchase orders in Business Central within 24 hours using proper procedures.

  • Label and store incoming product in designated bin locations following FIFO.

  • Return PO paperwork to the correct distribution center location.

  • Review top 250 list with Distribution Lead/Manager to determine optimal picking locations.

  • Conduct inventory counts twice per quarter.

  • Perform weekly cycle counts and research discrepancies; document findings and report issues.

  • Stock warehouse from overflow locations and maintain FIFO accuracy.

  • Keep overflow storage areas organized and ready for incoming shipments.

  • Assist with daily order pulling, packing, allocating, and shipping as needed.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

  • Follow all company, warehouse, safety, and HIPAA policies.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position does not supervise other employees.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control and receiving experience.

  • General experience with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution skills.

  • Must pass drug testing.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Business Central is a plus.

  • Forklift experience or certification preferred.

  • Regular walking, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, and stretching.

  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs; assisted lifts required for heavier items.
