CNC Machine Operator
Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Potential Friday Overtime
$17.82 per hour
 
Summary
 
We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain a variety of production equipment, including CNC lathes, vertical mills, drill presses, cut-off machines, and washing equipment. This position is responsible for producing quality parts, making machine adjustments, performing inspections, and maintaining production records in a manufacturing environment.
 
The ideal candidate will have machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read measurements and specifications. This role requires a commitment to quality, safety, and production efficiency.
 
Job Responsibilities
 
• Read job specifications to determine machine settings and material requirements
• Set up, change over, and adjust machines and CNC programs as needed
• Operate production equipment using controls, push buttons, or foot pedals
• Monitor machine operations to identify defects or equipment malfunctions
• Perform deburring operations on machined parts
• Record quality assurance and quality control data accurately
• Use measuring instruments including go/no-go gages, ring gages, height gages, plug gages, micrometers, and veneer gages
• Ensure all parts meet required quality standards
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete production records and required documentation accurately
• Support manufacturing operations and perform additional duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements
 
• Minimum of two years of relevant machining experience
• Experience working with Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and write simple instructions, correspondence, and production documentation
• Ability to understand and work with G & M codes
• Ability to write CNC programs using G codes
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze production issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Ability to identify machine calibration issues and potential quality concerns
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 
Physical Requirements
 
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms to handle tools, materials, and equipment
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Strong close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
 
Work Environment
 
• Regularly work near moving mechanical equipment
• Frequent exposure to cutting fluids, cleaning fluids, and related fumes
• Manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Fast-paced production setting requiring attention to detail

You can view your paystub through www.cardholder.comdata.com, through the Employbridge mobile app, or by signing up to automatically receive your paystub summary information by email or text message each pay day.
